Keala is the 'awa ka'i of Aha 'Awa & Storytellers. He leads the 'awa ceremony and 'Awa Koa with ha'akoa and oli. He is also an actor, model and cultural dancer.
Keala's parents are from Molokai and Big Island, and he grew up in Palolo Valley on O'ahu. He holds a great appreciation for 'awa and uses it in his daily ritual. His vision is to have 'awa available to everyone in ceremonies and celebrations to sustain Hawaiian culture and peace. When drinking 'awa "its about having people sit down, having a cup or two and having a dialogue of how we can go about having change."
