What do you do or want to do to make a difference in the world today?

I want to allow others to search in themselves Lokahi. It is not an easy thing to do. I, too, struggle with this, but the rewards are so satisfying! To search in yourself your culture that allows this to happen. You'll be surprise how similar we are and how much Lokahi can unite us as a human race.

What you are most passionate about or what do you love to do?

I am most passionate about Lokahi. Lokahi is the connection between Akua (God), Kanaka (Man) and 'Aina (land). All three things must be aligned to be Pono (Universal Harmony). I search and strive for that is all that I do and what I am. It is this mana'o, this understanding that gave me a new life to live, not just for myself, but for my 'ohana, my wife, my child and my friends, and others that I surround myself with. I am passionate about anything that benefits God, the land and ocean, because I benefit it back.

What do you do for work or volunteer?

I am a Manager for the Tour Department of Maui Divers Jewelry Design Center. I have worked there for 14 years. What I respect about the company and why I find it Lokahi is because they respectfully harvest coral gemstones from our ocean in a pruning manner to maintain our ancestor deep sea coral as a self-sustaining renewable resource. Causing an increase in growth for a larger habitat for our deep sea tropical fishes. I also love to support different Malama 'Aina operations such as Malama Pupukea-Waimea. And every month I clean Mauna'ala, the Royal Mausoleum where our Kings and Queens of Hawai'i are laid at rest.
