'Awa & Storytellers

Aloha kakou,

Join us for our 3rd event and round 2 of the series: Aha 'Awa & Storytellers! Let's listen to our honored guests, Jenny Lynn, Kenny Doughty and Shannon McCarthy, share a story with us as we drink 'awa together.

This is a FREE event, with a suggested donation of $5. Everyone is welcomed.
Drinking 'awa is optional, for locals we have apus you can borrow. Apus are limited, so first come-first serve. If you have your own please bring it. *For out-of-state visitors, we have handmade apus (cups) for you to take home for just $15.

This is a great opportunity for many of you that are interested in learning more about Hawaiian culture, protecting the ocean, and a great way to reach out to community leaders. This is a safe place for dialogue in hopes of creating more connectedness.

'Awa ceremony starts promptly at 5:00pm. Come early to get parking, parking is free at the the Ward Warehouse! We will be meeting inside Na Mea Bookstore towards the back.
