A native to Guam, where the culture is centered around family, respecting elders and gatherings around food. Brandi grew up with a large family, half wealthy and the other half poor. Her parents divorced when she was 9 years old, and was separated from most of her family since. Both parents remarried, and Brandi has re-established a relationship with both biological and step parents that grows closer to this day. She can help you understand the difference between island and mainland culture, family and soul family and help you find the balance in between.
Brandi began her career path in customer service and sales, specifically around wine, beer and food. She is what some may call a “foodie”. Passionate about food and drink pairings, she got her degree in Culinary Arts in which she has cooked in some high-end and high-volume restaurants of metropolitan city, Seattle. During this time, she studied diet and ways of healing naturally with foods. Although, she loved the culinary industry, she felt that she needed more and wanted to understand her purpose in life.
She went on a year journey traveling around the world and found her calling as she began to dive deeper into spirituality. She knew that she wanted to help people in a big way but didn’t know what to call it until she found the term “holistic health coaching” and decided to go to school at Institute of Integrative Nutrition of New York.
Holistic health coaching is an ancient teaching with a modern name. She learned more at IIN and used it as a catalyst to connect and learn from more teachers around the world. She continues to learn through self-teaching and shares her teachings with others. Brandi started learning psychology at age 5, has studied diet, natural healing and meditation for over 7 years. Her experience living on the Pacific islands and mainland, having moved and traveled over 30 times, has enabled her to connect with different cultures and upbringing on a non-bias level. She believes there’s validity in all truths and uses scientific evidence to support her natural teachings. She learns from Eastern and Western philosophies and coalesces beliefs from traditional and modern society.
Brandi has coached educators, healing practitioners (Eastern and Western philosophers), coaches, artists, musicians, veterans, students and aspiring entrepreneurs and can be of any age 7 to seniors 50 and up. She will work with anyone that is wanting and willing to do the work for a healthier and happier life.
